He is very patient with the students, provides good feedback, understands that we have lives outside of school, and is understanding when things happen. He is very chill and easy to talk to, and the class structure is good.
The most valuable aspect of this course was the environment that encouraged students to think creatively and help change the stress of writing. For most people writing is not the easiest or most fun, but with the right instructor making students feel confident and getting them to think deeply and pour more of themselves into their writing it can be. Overall, I don’t know how much I would have enjoy this course if it wasn’t for the instructor’s unique way of guiding us through our own writing journeys.
Braydon is the BEST professor I’ve had so far in college!! He is so humorous and connects with his students and makes them all feel comfortable. There are only three major essays in the course and the rubric is very clear as to what is expected. You are given freedom to choose your topics and it makes writing them much easier. LOVED this course!!
Just a great guy!! Easy to talk to, super laid back, great at communication, and gives the BEST feedback. Best professor I have ever had for an English course here at UC.
Got to learn how to become a better writer by learning to use many writing stages, and drafts. These skills I will take with me into the real world. Also the professor gave AMAZING feedback!! His feedback really shaped my writing and helped me grow as a writer. He truly wanted the best for us, and gave help

An excellent choice if you are looking for the right professor. Braydon is great at teaching, a caring and compassionate professor, and does a great job connecting with students. If you put in the work and participate in class you will receive a good grade. My favorite professor I have had I highly recommend to take this class.
I took Braydon for both ENGL 101 and 102! I am so glad I did as he was one of the best professors I have ever had. He gave me incredible feedback that allowed me to grow into the writer I am today. You did some group discussions and had about 3 major essays. Always had clear instructions and was always willing to help! I would so take him again!
All-around great person and makes you feel comfortable in his classroom. Has no problem giving feedback on the projects or assignments and gives you plenty of options when it comes to them. If you’re looking for an English professor he should be at the very top of your list.
Mr. Dungan is the best teacher I’ve had at Uofl he is young and is very willing to hear out your ideas and opinions in essays and in class. He is willing to talk to you about your grades or assignments and will break it down for you. If you get him you’re super lucky and as long as u complete the assignments u shouldn’t get lower than a B!
Professor Dungan was a great english professor. He explained the material extremely well whether it was homework, readings, group work, or classwork. Very easy to talk to when it came to feedback or staying after class to talk. Build relationship with students (relatable). Assignments were taught well so I can use the content in future classes.
